Our story
We didn't set out to build a brand. We set out to stop letting our dogs down.

Two laptops. Two hyperactive dogs. One guilty feeling.
We're a couple who both work from home — and we share our house with two dogs who were, quite simply, built with more energy than a day has hours. On paper it sounds perfect: dogs and their humans, together all day, every day.
In practice, “together” meant them lying next to our desks while we ran from one call to the next. There was always a tennis ball nearby. Always a hopeful look over the edge of a laptop. And always one of us whispering the same little lie: “after this call, buddy.”
But “after this call” kept moving. One meeting became three. The afternoon disappeared. And we'd both look up at 7pm and realize we'd spent the entire day three feet from our best friends — and never actually played with them.

That's not a bad-owner story. It's a busy-life story. But it sat heavy anyway — on both of us.
Then we tried to out-throw two dogs. We lost.
So we overcorrected, the way you do. Longer walks. Park sprints. Taking turns throwing the ball until our shoulders ached — and the dogs would just stand there, barely warmed up, asking for fifty more.
We'd come home spent. They'd come home fresh. And the couch cushions kept paying the price for all that leftover energy.
So we went looking — and what we found made the decision for us.
Everything out there was either a flimsy plastic gadget with specs that were obviously made up, or something decent sold like an afterthought — no clear shipping, no real guarantee, no sense that anyone stood behind it.
We didn't want a toy our dogs would ignore in two days. We wanted something solid and honest: a launcher that throws a real chase, with settings we've verified ourselves — 3 distances (10/20/30 ft), indoor and outdoor, USB-C rechargeable — backed by a guarantee that means what it says. It didn't exist the way we wanted it. So we made it exist.

Now our evenings look like this: the dogs drop the ball in, Rovedog launches it, and they run — again and again — while the two of us actually sit down together. They get their chase. We get our dogs back, happily tired. Nobody feels guilty.
Rovedog exists so your dog gets to run — on the good days and the busy ones.
Not to replace you. To back you up on the hours you can't cover, so “later” doesn't have to be the whole afternoon. Your dog was built to chase. We just make sure they get to.
